Founded in 1972 by George White, GR White & Son has grown into a thriving and versatile electrical contracting company with clients across Northern Ireland and further afield.
Our story
G.R. White & Son Electrical Contracts Ltd was founded in 1972 by George White. Over the decades since, the company has established itself alongside many of the major organisations in Northern Ireland and further afield.
That experience allows us to provide the best possible quality, and we are fully committed to delivering a high quality service and client satisfaction on all of our projects within the industrial, commercial and domestic sectors.
GR White & Son has steadily grown into a thriving and versatile electrical contracting company with clients not only throughout the whole of Northern Ireland but also in the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, Scotland and England. We will continue to develop with a high level of professionalism, quality and personal service in every aspect of electrical contracting, testing and facilities management.

GR White & Son Ltd was among 34 organisations celebrating Investors in People (IIP) accreditation at a presentation ceremony held in the Long Gallery, Parliament Buildings. George and Cynthia White are pictured with Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry and Head of Investors in People Paul Devoy.
Another successful night at the Electrical Magazine Awards in the Hilton Hotel, Belfast. Stuart Graham picked up the Apprentice of the Year award, and the company came out on top in Lighting Project of the Year for the Rosie Hackett Bridge, Dublin.
Our electrical package was part of the Waringstown Presbyterian Church community hall, General Construction Project of the Year, Above £1m.

Our 68-strong team works on education, health, community, industrial and highways projects across Northern Ireland and beyond. We are an Investors in People accredited employer, and our apprentices have been recognised at industry level, with Stuart Graham named Apprentice of the Year at the Electrical Magazine Awards 2015.
